Apply - Welder/ Fabricator (Spencerport, NY)

Boss Precision Ltd. is a local sheet metal manufacturing company with over 30 years in the industry. Boss services various industries including: transportation, communications, medical, material handling and consumer equipment.

Qualified candidates should be skilled in both GMAW and GTAW processes. Material types include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum in thicknesses ranging from .030" to 1". Sheet metal experience is preferred and is a large portion of the workload. Fabrication experience is a plus. Compensation for entry level welder positions is $18-20/hr and is negotiated based on experience and aptitude.

Responsibilities Include:

• Self-motivated with the ability to work and think with limited supervision. This includes being on time and ready to work

• Must be able to work from and understand blueprints and weld symbols independently

• All candidates are expected to have experience in both GMAW and GTAW with the ability to weld various material types and thicknesses in various positions

• New hires are expected to supply their own hand tools as required to perform everyday tasks. Tool list available upon request

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be at least 18

A-Shift hours are M-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm, Fri 7:00am-3:30pm
Saturday 7:00am-12noon when required

*All new hires are expected to be available to work overtime if asked
