Boss Precision Ltd. is a local sheet metal manufacturing company with over 30 years in the industry. Boss services various industries including: transportation, communications, medical, material handling and consumer equipment.

We are looking to hire Laser Operators for our second shift. This candidate must work well with limited supervision and should have experience running different varieties of Amada Lasers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Able to setup, operate and maintain production of quality parts throughout shift

• Must be able to troubleshoot their way through problems that might occur during production

• Must exhibit excellent communication and organization skills

• Must possess a strong work ethic

• Reliable transportation a must

• Expected to have your own tools needed to complete jobs. Minimum Tool Requirements are:

  • Adjustable Wrenches

  • Allen Wrenches (Metric & Standard)

  • Dead blow hammer

  • Dial Calipers

  • Micrometer

  • Set of Screw Drivers

  • Tin Snips

  • Toolbox

Skills:

• Must be able to interpret blueprints from multiple customers

• Able to lift up to 50lbs during the course of the shift

• Must be capable of performing in-process inspections where required

• Knowledge of CNC operations a plus to cross train

• Knowledge of Basic Shop Math

B-Shift hours are M-Thurs 3:30pm-2:00am, Fri 3:30am-midnight
Saturday 12noon-5:00pm when required

*All new hires are expected to be available to work overtime if asked
